April is a good month to go to New Orleans - I usually go later on because I arrive down there around the first part of June - the heat doesn't bother me in the least. We always stay on the corner of Bourbon and Toulouse - that hotel there - can't think of the name - anyway, we stay in the Quarter. I like to go to Napoleon's...they make good muffaloto sandwitches which the husband likes and all sorts of good food - I love the atmosphere as well, You could do a Google of Napoleon's. I love the art and antique shops on Royal St. Also, go down to the French Market and have cafe aulait and beignets. I like the Bourbon Street Blues club sometimes and the R&B club on Bourbon - it depends on what you like to do - there's the Aquarium, Cabildo, St. Louis Cathedral...I never make plans and just let the day lead me around. I love N.O. and all of Louisiana but then I was raised there...Ok well if you have any questions let me know! Salud, Mariana T.
